Keeper of Secrets

Keeper of Secrets is a book of poems written by Ausmus Squire Marburger between June, 2002, and January, 2016.  Keeper of Secrets contains poems spanning love, loss, science, history, mysticism, fantasy, war, prophecy, and other concepts, emotions, and constructs.  Many of its poems tend towards the lyrical and rhythmic, written in a style that seeks to attain both depth and occasional profundity without sacrificing accessibility, making Keeper of Secrets truly a book for the common man and woman.


Ausmus’ poems are the result of a diverse range of influences, experiences, and inspirations.  Influences include Shakespeare, Milton, Blake, Frost, Tolkien, classic rock, and opera, among others.  Ausmus draws on experiences in and knowledge of arts, sciences, cultures, histories, business, and spirituality, in combination with an intuitive grasp of concepts and meanings to alchemize his poetry.


Ausmus currently resides in Pennsylvania.
