The characters become entwined with the local team, having many entertaining adventures. The challenge of "third world" handball in the US is quite an adjustment for those arriving to Boston but the diverse international teammates bond as a big family, enjoying being together off & on the court. Set in Cambridge, MA, the first of a series, chronicles the trials of concussion, rigors of top ranked academic life, complexity of romantic relationships and often comical cultural mishaps in a diverse international sport team.
