Lake Magadi

A young graduate engineer leaves 1920s England to work at ICI's soda ash plant at Lake Magadi, Kenya. He learns about the character and conflicts of the native Masai, the Indian immigrant workers and the white managerial classes. In his spare time he meets the established white settlers including the eccentric Lord Delamere.
