Before becoming an author, Debbie Levy practiced law and worked as a newspaper editor. She loves to bowl, kayak, fish, tramp around the woods with her chocolate Lab, and dig in her garden. Debbie and her husband, Rick Hoffman, have two sons: one is a jazz saxophonist in New York and the other is a student in the theater department at Northwestern University. Debbie is a life-long Marylander.
