Reginald Betancourt, a celebrated archeologist, died four years ago and woke up in a world of magic and monsters... and fifty years younger. When searching ancient ruins he released something terrifying. Liches, powerful undead spell slingers, now freed, begin to put their master plan into effect. Reggie must team up with Gryphon, a basement gamer creeper, and Reid, a military helicopter pilot, to stop them. But with the undead mages seeking power and control with centuries of planning behind their attacks, the odds are stacked against them.
