Life Map: A Novel

Research scientist Paul Lancaster is about to publish a groundbreaking report on gene regulation for disease prevention that will change medical science as we know it when a text from his good friend and a chance encounter on the Metro lead him to his most important discovery, an ancient document that spells out every decision he should make in life. Should he risk everything to help this man on the Metro? The Life Map, as Paul calls it, says he should, but where did it come from and how does it know about him? Should he leave his job to go work with his long time friend? Soon everything comes into question as he tries to determine whether this is an elaborate hoax or Divine intervention. Is someone trying to derail his report or break up his relationship? Or should Paul have faith in what he has found? At the crossroads of life, Paul must determine if there is a different path he must follow while at the same time dealing with those who will stop at nothing to profit from his research.
