The Suzie the Scientist early reader series links reading development to the wonders of science. This 24-book series features an engaging ’cool’ scientist (Suzie) who engages children, empowers parents and facilitates scientific learning while developing reading skills. 


Light: In this book Suzie the Scientist helps us learn about light and how it enables us to see things. We identify the Sun as the major source of light on Earth and how light from the Sun reflects off objects to enable us to see them. Suzie also shows us different sources of light and how they can be used in our daily lives. This book addresses the learning outcome “Light and sound are produced by a range of sources and can be sensed”.
