Like Old Times

Sometimes love isn’t lost. It’s misplaced for a while.

Maddie and Noah Alborn have taken pride in the way they handled their divorce after twenty-four years of marriage. The week before Christmas, their daughter calls on them to stay with the grandkids while she and her husband travel to London. The idea is for Noah, a popular author finishing up a book tour, to relieve Maddie midway through the week so she can get back to her café, Mugs & Muffins, for the Christmas rush.

Mother Nature has a mind of her own in more ways than one, and the former couple finds themselves snowed in at the home that was Maddie’s family homestead and the home they’d shared during their marriage. Noah is already thinking he and Maddie should take a second chance with each other. All he has to do is convince her. He gets a lot of help when Maddie is swamped by memories of old times.
