Once upon a time in a certain kingdom was a king who had only one son. When his son was about eighteen years old, his father had to go to fight in a war against a neighbouring country, and the king led his troops in person. The son became the vice-king, but his father ordered him that he must not to marry till his return. After several years, the prince called his courtiers about him and set off with a great retinue to seek a bride. He went for a long time in an unknown direction and in the end he met the camp of his father. The king was delighted to see his son, but when he heard that instead of quietly waiting for him at home the prince was starting off to seek a wife he was very angry.
