Lucy the Ladybird

Lucy the Ladybird is a fun children's story using rhyming verse and acrylic painting illustrations. It tells the tale of a beautiful ladybird called Lucy living in an abundant and pesticide free garden along with many other critters who are her friends. Disaster strikes when new property owners move in and destroy their habitat by land clearing and the use of pesticides. Lucy and her friends Trevor the blue tongue lizard, Tysis the goanna and many others embark on an adventurous journey to find a new, safe and wonderful haven. The story shares a message of hope whilst bringing attention to the importance of people being loving and knowledgeable stewards of the earth for all inhabitants.
