Luminosity

In the year 2045 a team of astronauts set sail for the edge of the solar system on the U.S.S Burdett to search for man's DNA origins.

Unable to communicate with Earth as result of magnetic and gravitational anomalies, the star weary explorers discover an earth-like pocket of atmosphere on Pluto teeming with flora and what appears to be wreckage of a ship. That ship's lone survivor assists the Burdett's crew in discovering the origins of man and unlocking the mystery of an alien race known as the Spicans.

Luminosity—a homage to the influential and groundbreaking Russian science fiction films of the '60s and '70s—is a psychological and inspirational drama that weaves astronomy, entomology, history, speculation and social commentary together in a moral fable about the human condition and man's ambitions beyond the confines of Earth.
