Macushla

After earning her nursing degree, Peg Starling moves from her small town in Kentucky to a populous city in Ohio. Alone and lonely, she can hardly contain her excitement--and ger nerves--when a coworker invites her to a party. What Peg doesn't know is that by attending the party, she is placing her fate in the hands of two superior beings--one a malevolent demigod bent on destroying humankind and reclaiming the earth, the other a kind-hearted supernatural being striving to thwart the destruction. Peg quickly learns that the only certainty is that not only is the grass not always greener on the other side, but sometimes the water is much, much deeper.
