It is late in the twenty-second century, and Wave One Martians have enjoyed over one year of successful living in the centrifuge in Earth gravity.

The Wave One Martians enjoy the benefits of adventurous living with unlimited electricity and modern appliances. There is no need for weighted shoes or belts, and everyone has the option to stop taking birth control shots.

It soon becomes apparent that Home Base is not the only pioneer in space exploration and planet colonization. Other companies and private investors on Earth are waiting to evaluate what Home Base is accomplishing before they prepare for their adventure through space.
