Judy Barnes has become an author as she has grown older. As a child she would be considered an Air Force Brat. She, along with her mother and stepfather, moved around a lot. She made good grades in school, even though she didn't spend much time in one place very long. She started out wanting to be a secretary, then she painted with oils for a while. She had a hard time finding her niche until she started writing stories. Now she is happy with her accomplishments. She has been married to her husband, Paul, for 61 years.
