MASKERADE is a romantic thriller that is based in Los Angeles in the 1990's. It is about an exotic disturbingly mysterious women who is obsessed with obtaining a rare ancient Egyptian mask for it's fabled magical powers. The battle of dark and light forces takes the reader on a page turning journey to the ultimate plot twist.


About the Author


I was born in the summer of 1950 on August 3nd in Santa Monica California into a colorful celebrity family. My father Irish born was film actor George Brent well known for his film with Bette Davis. My mother Janet Michael was born and raised

in San Francisco California. She was of Scottish decent a popular socialite and fashion designer. My childhood years I shared with my brother Barry in the San Fernando Valley and later in Rancho Santa Fe California. My teenage years brought extensive travel in Europe where we lived and I went to school in both Switzerland and Ireland. It was in this mystical country that I knew I wanted to become a writer. Over the years I have worked in many areas from Hotel Concierage special events coordinator and Metaphysical life coach. I currently live in La Jolla California where I have returned to my love of writing.
