Zarna, the mysterious grandmother Bryce never knew existed, has come to his aide at a most dire moment. Her explanations and insights to the past explain many things about how things came to be, especially on why she just now has decided to reveal herself to Bryce and the others.
Zarna recognizes the peril of the situation and, as she points out, the immediate threat must be addressed before they can dwell on what was. She begins to train Bryce, but it is an uphill battle, and Zarna is aware of this, and so is everyone else. Time is short, however, as Zelter will being to grow impatient, and bring some type of danger to the humans. Will Zelter rally more Dragalyns and mount a full on attack on humans? With so much at stake will Bryce buckle under the pressure? Or, will he be able to fulfill his destiny?
