Medicinal Need

Luke is a young cowboy on a drive. The open range, the sky, the cattle... he's found his calling and he's making his own way. Then a stray bullet finds him, blazing into his chest and lodging near his heart. The pain is like nothing he's ever felt and the slightest movement amplifies his agony. There seems little the trail boss can do but put him out of his misery. But then the trail boss reaches into his things and produces an elixir. Will it help? Or is Luke doomed to join the legions of dead cowboys buried in the wild west?
