When Megan moves into a new apartment in Yonkers with her 4-year-old son, Josh, it is with the best intentions of making a fresh start, after a terrible ordeal.

However, when Josh makes a new imaginary friend, Megan's dreams of peace fall apart around her, as the nightmares begin.

Almost every night, she is haunted by horrible realistic dreams of brutal torment, followed by strange occurrences during the daytime hours.

The stressful combination of these events turns her life upside down.

Megan realizes she has somehow stumbled upon a decades old local mystery involving a young woman, who mysteriously disappeared without a trace during the summer of 1988, and that is only the beginning!
