Ivy has always been responsible: studied hard, stayed out of trouble. That's the way her Uncle Owen raised her. An MBA student at NYU, she is on track for a steady finance career. Her true love, though, is photography. A chance meeting at her uncle's company Christmas party puts her in an unfamiliar, and risky, territory with the company's CEO, George Embry. With him, she begins to see her life through a new lens.

George has always had success in his life - business success. His personal life has not been as charmed. With the death of his wife ten years earlier, he has withdrawn from personal involvements, immersing himself in taking the company to new heights. It isn't until he meets Ivy, though, that he begins to realize what he has been missing. With her warm spirit, he feels his begin to thaw.
