Mending Dreams

When Susan Krajewski's husband Frank leaves her—for another man—she loses more than her marriage. Masking her pain behind a witty exterior, Susan almost succeeds in convincing everyone, including herself, that she's okay. She's even stayed friends with Frank. Then something happens Susan can't control: Frank's dying. She's losing him again, this time forever. Now, she must face her feelings, plunging into the fear and pain of death. As she sees Frank out of this life and into the next, Susan discovers she's not alone. She learns who her true friends are and finds some unexpected allies.

About the author 

Bonnie Schroeder was bitten by the writing bug in the fifth grade and never recovered. Several of her short stories have been published and one of her feature-length screenplays was a semi-finalist in the Monterey County Film Commission's competition. Mending Dreams is her first novel.
