Simon's missing, and it's all my fault. I've been bouncing through centuries like I'm on some kind of magical rollercoaster, trying to find him. But when I finally discover a wooden device that helps me control where I go, Prentiss—the vampire nightmare I can't seem to shake—steals it. And he's not alone. He's teamed up with a tall, creepy guy from the Chronomancers, and together they want to rewrite time itself.

Now, I have no way of pinpointing Simon, and every leap through time feels like a gamble. If I can't get the device back, not only will I lose Simon for good, but Prentiss and his new ally could change the past—and future—in ways I can't even imagine.
