Fantastic new series starter!
I was so excited to hear that Sarina is writing this new series! Even more When I saw the ARC on my kindle!
We met Eric Bayer in the Bruisers series before (if you’ve read them. If not - hurry, you’re missing out!!) He’s such a nice and great guy. I always liked him a lot.
Through some circumstances he meets up with Alex Engels, childhood friend of his - at his brothers company - and tough as nails CEO of her own company. She needs a companion for a business trip to Hawaii, and what happens when you have a room with just one bed? You get close to each other. Real close!
I loved the banter between Alex and Eric. And how she softens up with him, and him with her. All these little things he does for her, they totally show you how much he’s in love with her. They have great chemistry, and it’s hot and sexy between the sheets!
All in all this is an absolutely fantastic book as a starter for the new series. I’m already excited to read the next book. This book is not only a Sports romance, it also has a lot of suspense in it, and keeps you on the edge!
