More Than a Fling

Laney: It all started with a blind date. For him, at least. Me? I didn't even know I was on a date with the guy. Because I wasn't. Long story. Right place, right time, unsuspecting new PR client and meddlesome matchmaking friends. Talk about an awkward first impression--with me being the awkward one. I regrouped though, gotta give me that. Gary: Hell, of course the smart, sweet woman I thought was my blind date would turn out to be my new PR guru from New York. Just my luck. No big deal though. Spending the winter working with an impossibly cute woman on a project I've put my blood and sweat into doesn't sound half bad. Yeah, I'm aware my friends think a sparks-flying romance is unfolding here, but come on now. We don't even live in the same state. And let's be real, the universe would have to be seriously drunk to pick my grumpy ass to be the hero of some holiday romcom...
