My Ceramic Heart

My Ceramic Heart is a collection of poetry by Kevin A. Wilson.


In this collection, Kevin explores the pain from his past traumas, his struggles with anxiety and depression, and his battle with PTSD. But, his poems also explore the beauty of healing, and the challenge of allowing himself to love and trust again.


These poems are the most vulnerable parts of him.


About the Author

Kevin is Native American, a member of the Pokagon band of Potawatomi Indians. Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in English language and literature. After college he had a vast variety of work experience, but he now works as an academic advisor at the same University he graduated from.


Aside from writing, Kevin also enjoys playing D&D and a plethora of board games and video games. He is a true nerd, and proud of it. But he can also regularly be found kayaking at a local lake or throwing pottery at his local art center — two activities that help ground him and ease his anxiety.
