My Traumatic Survival-I Am Okay‪!‬

Life has a way of making you strong. It is not necessary for it to go your way, but that's okay. Because in the end, you carve your own path to your destiny.

For a baby born in a third-world country, I, Sonia Domarasky, was lucky enough to be adopted by an angel sent from God himself.

My mother-the angel who nurtured me, cared for me, fought for me, and made me who I am today. She was the light of my life and everything I hope to be one day.

Even though I have gone through the worst in life, from being given away by my biological father, being sexually abused, being emotionally beaten, to finally losing my angel-my light, I still faced life and its challenges head-on.

Because, in the end, I did get three beautiful children-my burning stars in the dark night sky.

My stars have also gone through their fair share of struggles and hardships, but who they are today, who they have become-I couldn't be prouder.

But I believe this all is what made me who I am today.

Through the eyes of a survivor, my story is what gave me strength, and I hope the same for those who read it.
