Deborah Elizabeth Smith, also-known-as Preemie was born, in a Catholic Hospital named Mother Mary's Hospital, to a drug addictive mother who succumbed to death the exact moment Preemie burst into the world. Preemie's mother embraced death's warmth; it had been searching for her for a long time. Her mother had lived a life filled with three life's terms of anguish, rejection, guilt, and pain. At the very moment of Preemie's mother's death, Preemie felt the pinch of the darts. The devil had redirected his aim. Preemie became his imminent target. Physically and emotionally abused, Preemie dwelt in the darkness. Her world was bleak. No one seemed to notice or care. Preemie finds and loses love on her journey. But her utlimate task is yet to be conquered.
