Never a Dull Moment

Unusual things seem to happen to Susan and family through no fault of her own, like the day the mole attack her dog. She and her husband, Sam, live on a mini-farm in Southern Illinois with their two children, Donnie and Anna, three pug dogs and a varying number of cats. Susan loves to cook and claims her specialty is peanut and jelly sandwiches. Then there was the episode when she tried to feed her 25 newborn chicken with an eyedropper. Later, when son, Donnie brought a chameleon home from school, Susan told Sam she didn't want to keep a slimy lizard in the house, but Sam insisted it would be a good experience for Donnie to be responsible for caring for the pet. All went well until Susan decided to cook cornbread for supper and discovered the Donnie was raising worms to feed his chameleon in the corn meal in the cupboard. That was the end of the chameleon and the cornbread.
