While on a mission in Mexico, Mista is poisoned by an unknown poison from the Amazon rain forest. It causes random memory loss and blocks, similar in effect to Alzheimer's

syndrome. The doctors have no answers, and prayers do not work. His oldest daughter has a gift of healing, but she also does not get answers. When her gift of healing does not

work, she has a crisis of faith. The bleak future includes possible death, no memory of anything, maybe total dependency on others for basic functions.
