In the near future, society is divided into extroverts and introverts, the former being the ones in power. A new drug is developed that claims to "fix" introverts, making them extroverted, despite the introverts protesting against the government forcing it on them. The conflict rises on both sides until two old, yet very different friends are each forced to make a lifechanging decision.
