Every night as we sleep, an insidious force stalks us. Its sole purpose is to kill us and make it hurt. It preys upon our petty weaknesses and self serving paranoia. On a cross country trip home from a family funeral, Frank Collins enters a treacherous snare when his car breaks down in a small, remote North Carolina town. The hazard he faces pulls his wife into an even more terrifying trap in the small, remote places of her own mind. Most people say, if given a choice, they would prefer dying in their sleep.
