For the majority of her life, Janel Reid has been involved in Children's Evangelism and missions working in Kenya, Belgium and Paraguay. Her love for kids and experience as Christian Education director and children's evangelist in British Columbia has inspired her to help produce childrens' musicals in her church. Her keen observations of children, adults, and animals in a variety of settings and cultures create the fodder for her stories and illustrations.
