After defeating an attempt by Chrysalis to take over Equestria and dealing with the invading forces of the Storm King, Mark Wells hoped that he and his friends could settle down for peace and quiet for a while. However, the human-turned-pegacorn prince must cope with an assassin, a fanatically ambitious mare, changeling Queens, and an alliance of his most powerful foes.
