Twenty years ago, Thomas Crowe was called 'The Magpie' and he was the up and coming jewel thief. Then his partner made him take a fall and his career was over. Thomas only recovered from his past when he met Inez in the slums of Rio de Janeiro years later. He adopted her and took her to Paris, the city he always felt was his real home. Now Inez is succeeding him as a jewel thief and she's doing well. And as if on command, his old partner turns up again, stirring old memories Thomas wanted to keep buried. Inez will not let her father suffer, even it if threatens to kill her.
