Lily had known from a young age that she was adopted and was content growing up peacefully with her adopted father and extended family in the Library. When Lily starts dreaming of a beast with the same unique eye colour as hers she discovers her alien origins and the valuable truth about her life the Library inhabitants have been keeping from her. Lily now finds herself hunted by humans from another galaxy calling themselves the Travellers and the genetically engineered beast of her dreams. On the run with her adopted father and the mysterious Jason, Lily has little time to adjust as she tries to find her way to safety.
