Our World Phonics Reader

Our World Phonics Reader presents 6 sounds from Phonics Five in the Reading Master system.  The Arctic Phonics Reader presents the other 6 sounds from Phonics Five. These books have sold over 1.5 million copies in hard copy and have been converted to ebooks by popular demand. The featured sounds are colour coded and one or two appear in each paragraph.  This makes these reader books fun to read out loud because of the concentration of sounds that sound the same. 
The Our World story is beautifully and accurately illustrated by Frances Smith. Frances is a New Zealand teacher and illustrator who has won a Commemoration Medal (1990) for Services to New Zealand. The illustrations in this book are all drawn true to life.  As your children learn to sound out and recognise words, they will also be increasing their knowledge of the world in which they live.  This phonics reader depicts several of the horses introduced in the Reading Master Horses FlashBook.
Words are highlighted as they are read in video mode making the books easy to follow along with. Animations occur on each page after it has been read out loud. Commonly used words in English and in the book are provided as flashcards with audio file. Simple words such as "of", "do", "to", "our" are included in this book.
