When the United Kingdom is hit by a cataclysmic storm, few survive the onslaught. Those that do hide underground in long forgotten bunkers, counting the days until they run out of food, desperate for help.

From Kelvedon Hatch to Anchor Telephone Exchange, King's Lynn to London Gateway, Outrunners - From The Ruins follows the stories of eight people as they try to survive in this harsh new world. Armed with only the clothes on their backs, and a strong desire to keep breathing, they must scavenge, barter, repair and rebuild if they want any hope of a 'normal' life once more.
