It is 1998 when a young woman driving on a snowy Michigan road accidentally hits what appears to be the dead body of a child—until the corpse seemingly comes alive, just as a hand reaches up from behind the woman and grabs her throat. After Shannon White’s parents summon the police to look for her, all they find is her abandoned car with her purse in the front seat and the key in the ignition.
