When Tomorrow Comes


When tomorrow comes, I’ll look back on today and say,

I knew it would be different from today and yesterday.

And I’ll remind myself of how far I have come from where I used to be.

I’ll tell myself that trust in God is all it’s meant to be.

I’ll say, “Thank You Lord for the trials you brought me through”

And I’ll thank God for His faithfulness in spite of my doubting too.

I’ll repent of my sins and change my sinful ways.

I’ll remember God’s promise to heal and forgive with praise.

I’ll always treasure this day because I know that as I pray;

When tomorrow finally comes, it will always be today.
