Practical Falconry

Practical Falconry is made up of two parts, both of which will be of interest to those thinking of taking up the noble sport of Falconry.

In the part the author, an experienced and well thought of hawking expert describes how the beginner should go about the whole process. From asking what sort of country will you be flying your birds in, to what kind of birds would be suitable and how to go about getting them. From there he describes the various type of hunting can be done and how to go about it.

The second half of the book is called "How I became a Falconer", and describe this experts rise to prowess, through experience and anecdote.
