The main question on Andrea's mind was "How could I not have known?" This was followed by a sense of loss at the life that could have been and a need to figure out being queer NOW-so much time had already been wasted. Queer invites readers on a rainbow roller coaster of self-discovery and acceptance following decades of disassociation from her queer identity.
