Ragamuffin-My Life In Pieces

ragamuffin — my life in pieces, Teenage Years — Part II takes place in Prince Edward Island. I was between the ages of 13-18. I went to two different schools in PEI, in this period of my life.  




I grew up with five adorable brothers, 2 younger, 3 older. I was a South Asian female. I was adopted, as were some of my brothers. 




To help you the reader understand, I will be dividing the stories into sections (the early years, teenage — Part I, teenage — Part II, young adult — Part I, young adult — Part I, mid adult — Part I, mid adult — Part I).




At this point in my story, my self esteem was shot. It was weird, I knew I was intelligent, but I didn’t feel like I was good enough. I knew I was pretty, but I thought I was so ugly that no one would ever love me. 


 

Religion masked as ‘spirituality’ governed our lives.
