What happens when strangers marry only to discover their pasts are connected in ways that neither could have predicted?

Widow Kate Jensen wants children of her own, but she's vowed to never fall in love and be vulnerable to loss again. Her solution? An arranged marriage to Jack Cardwell, a computer genius with reasons of his own for avoiding love.
