Red Hand

Shizuka never dreamed of being special. All she wanted in life was to do mercenary work for the House of Shadows and occasionally keep a little of it for herself. When an opportunity to do something risky - assassinate a Red Mandarin, one of the sorcerer-overlords of Shadowport - she finds the reward too good to pass up. She never dreamed it would lead her into a situation where she might become a major player in the future of the city.
