Redeye: Coffee with a Shot

John Fiction is an unemployed average coffee drinking red-blooded guy, or at least he likes to think so. He is just trying to get through daily drudgery of the unemployment market as disappointments continue to pile up. He sees life and the people around him differently than they see themselves which gets him caught up in a string of unfortunate and sometimes bizarre events mainly because his powers of observation tend to outweigh his people skills. When a murder happens on the doorstep of his usual hang out at the local coffee shop, the police keep a close eye on him. His life suddenly gets a bit more exciting while the mystery unfolds with very serious cops and some not-so-serious comrades.
