Joel wakes from desperately needed sleep to find strange monsters stripping his apartment. When confronted, the person handling the monsters informs Joel that certain bills have not been paid and that his things are being repossessed. Desperate for answers, Joel flees his apartment to find that the same thing is happening all over town.
And there's not a thing he can do about it.
