Return to Kiana

The humans and Kians who survived the passage of the deadly comet, Yanivina, now wish to get on with their lives. They believe the Coalition of Planets will let them alone as they requested. However, the Council of Equals that rules the far flung Coalition of Planets saw enough information gathered by the doomed CSS Magellan to realize they want the technology witnessed in the holos. The CSS Joseph Walker is dispatched to Kiana to get answers.
In the meantime, the CSS Marco Polo is sent after the deadly Frasier's Comet/Yanivina to obtain a sample of the gasses that killed the CSS Magellan. The Marco Polo runs into space anomalies, bellicose aliens, and has a fight from which she must flee or be destroyed. She then discovers the CSS John C. Fremont - missing for 20 years, and it is not good.
The Research Submersible Golden Fleece goes in search of the leviathans that skipper LCdr Jason Karella saw in his "holy dream" while influenced by Kion. They discover the Muunum, and a whole new culture to deal with in our Return to Kiana.
