Soren emerges from his rejuvenation tank to find he's no longer technically alive. Where once he was both Dr. Frankenstein AND the Frankenstein monster, now he's just the monster.

All that remains of his higher consciousness resides in the mindchip. Unless he can reanimate his body, that's where it'll stay. But the monster is learning to block access to the mindchip more and more with each passing day.

If Soren is not to remain in this state, he's going to have to act fast, and get help. The problem is, he threatened to kill his ad hoc family of paranormals. Now they—including his girlfriend, Naomi—are running scared.
