Roach the Pony

Roach the Pony is a semi-autobiographical story of a field trip for a group of inner city students taking their first visit to a Dude Ranch in the Catskill Mountains. The story revolves around Little Chuckie, and his trials and tribulations as he overcomes run ins with school roughnecks and his surprising relationship with Roach the Pony. The exciting short story covers many of todays hot buttons, prejudice, bullying and interpersonal relationships. The book will have you laughing, cringing and crying as Little Chuckie navigates his way through some tough life lessons. Roach the Pony is the first in a series of books about Little Chuckie and some of the harrowing and hilarious situations he and his friend encounter growing up in Brooklyn, NYC.
