40 years have passed since the worldwide robot attacks caught humanity off-guard. Known as HRUOs (Hostile Robots of Unknown Origin) they have ruthlessly and methodically taken over 50% of the Earth's total landmass. The war has been more or less stalemated now, but reports are coming in of massive robot armies and new frightening weapons; humanity's ability to hold the line is burgeoning on collapse. Three soldiers find themselves in the path of one of the newest assaults.
