Recipe favorites used by an Italian family running a deli in the 80's using 1950's style cooking, sometimes - or earlier, one recipe dates from 1925. (Note use of Minute Rice, Cheez Whiz & Accent which is easily replaced by Spike or Mrs. Dash) Speed of preparation, one-pot cooking whenever possible, easily accessible ingredients were leading criteria, along with great taste.
